Indivisible: Part 1 - Little Boxes or What Have Your Been Up To?: Self-Care

Part 1 of the Indivisible Series will also be the first part of the series of pieces conceived by Claire Bauman, in collaboration with RedTape theatre, called Little Boxes or What Have Your Been Up To, an examination of how the US quarantine for the global coronavirus has changed the way we view the frames of our lives. From Claire: “What have you been up to? It’s a dreaded question. And answers tend to be lackluster. What have you been up to? Straining against the sides of our square containers, simultaneously, we have done so much and so little and have so much to say and yet so little.” Little Boxes: Self-Care tackles chronic illness and disability, and the barriers created that bar us from taking proper care of ourselves under capitalism. The piece will be a live performance, seen both throughs the window of RedTape Theatre in Chicago, IL, and on RedTape’s facebook page. It will take place between 3-7pm on Saturday June 26th.
